The miles for this fill up were almost entirely interstate and mountain driving. I went up to northern NH fishing over the weekend, so it was a lot of interstate, then a lot of short trips, multiple passengers, dirt roads, moutainous terrain. Probably not the best fuel mileage numbers!

All the miles on this tank were interstate with multiple people and loaded with camping gear and then through and around the mountains of northern VT. I think this is going to put a ding on my average!

Heavy interstate, mountain and short trip travel associated with this tank. I went fishing up in the Great North Woods, so there were two people a lot of gear, many short trips, back roads and interstate driving to get there and to get home.

I read the bottle of fuel treatment that I put in at the last fill up and it said it would treat up to 35 gallons! So I figured I'd dilute it down a bit with a mid tank fill up.

I added a 20 ounch bottle of STP Diesel Fuel Treatment to this tank. 20 extra ounces of fuel would equal somewere around 7.56 miles so if I were to subtract that from the total mileage indicated the actual mileage for this tank would actually be about 47.8 mpg.

This is the tank that went to Maine ... mentioned in the last note. Ian drove most of the way there a couple hundred miles. We both kept it to about 65-70... this seems to be a sweet spot for mileage. I also topped the tank on filling it after this jaunt, so about a half gallon beyond the shut-off of the pump. The mileage would have been 47.7 mpg if I didn't top it off completely.

The miles on this tank and the next were with multiple passengers and some gear. Three went fishing in VT. Then two of us went fishing in Maine. So, a lot of interstate driving with multiple passangers in and through the mountains of VT., NH, and ME. about 35 miles of the next tank were on logging roads in Maine so slow going, muddy.

All miles on the previous tank were interstate and mountain driving (Mountain Jam Weekend in the Catskills and I was the chaufer back and forth to the mountain from the rental property). The car was loaded with either people and gear or all people. MAN! What a weekend!

Blizzak snow tires off and original Hankook M+S tires back on. Snows mounted on VW steel rims and needed very little balance. Originals mounted on VW aluminum rims.
