Good tank for the middle of Winter. Trying to keep speeds around 70 indicated instead of 75-80. Filled up at Sams instead of the usual BP. Looks like I might've hit 700, but I had some travelling to do today, went ahead and filled up.

Almost all in town mileage, weather's getting cooler, and I don't think the car could hold another drop. Also the first tank in a long long time without PS.

My best tank yet. 90% highway. Thanks to recent refresh by Growler, alignment being fixed, stuck brake being fixed, etc. This is even with braaaaand new GoodYears, can't wait to see how they do once they're broken in a little!

Jul 18 2009

Fixed rear alignment problems by shimming left rear spindle about 1mm at the top, right rear by about 2.5mm at the top. Probably not the best practice, but about all I can afford right now. Unstuck the right rear e-brake, by looking at my mileage recently, it obviously wasn't sticking much at all, but there was quite a bit more brake dust on the wheel versus other rear wheel, and it felt quite a bit hotter after any driving. Finally, had walmart install 4 new Goodyear Fuel Max tires on the NB wheels for the summer. Size 205-55-16. $105 each + $7.50 per tire for installation.
