Temperature has really warmed up. 50s during the day and even sometimes at night. Shows in the display that I am getting better mileage. Still have snows on.

Just had the big storm. Got about 32 inches of snow. A lot of wheel spinning, but not that much to explain the poor mileage

Got the ECU reflashed by the dealership under recall. Also just rotated the tires and did the 30K service. The reflash is supposed to take care of the car stalling while idling. After flash the car ran crappy at idle and vibrated. Went away after five miles. Seemed to see an immediate jump in mileage, but only lasted for a day.

Completed 30K Service at Mazda of Manchester. $199.99. Change oil, change cabin filter, rotate and balance tires, do the recall ECU flash, fix the side skirt from popping out, and activate the Smart Blinker function

Warmed up only once this week. Went from 8 degrees to 57. Very confusing weather. Looks like temperature is the largest factor in this car's fuel mileage.

Filled up with regular. Still having crappy mileage, but concluded that it all relates to temperature. Sub 40 degrees and the mileage goes crappy. This is even with parking in a garage.

This tank was regular. Not bothering with premium anymore since it doesn't look like there is a difference. What I am curious to see is if there is a difference with the Mobil gas. Snow tires are still on.

This tank was regular after three tanks of premium. Plus, switched to snow tires, which will really tank my fuel mileage for the winter.

This tank was premium and filled up with premium to see if there is a difference. Still low. Filled up at cheapie station. Next test is to try the premium stations like Mobil, Shell, etc.

Mileage still crappy despite all driving techniques. Last 3/4 of tank I just drove normally (80mph). New tank was premium. Lets see if that changes anything.

Filled up at Cumberland Farms (crappy gas??) Regular octane. Seemed good according to HUD since it showed 46mpg on 15 mile ride home (but mostly downhill)

Went to NY. Mileage is crappy, but filled up at the beginning of the trip, which will be the next fill up. Filled up with premium and the car immediately jumped up to 42mpg average. We'll see what happens next fill.
