Floating idle started hurting FE. Could not diagnose problem after doing both throttle body and IACV cleaning, as well as having Will O. rule out a vacuum leak. Sold car 7/27/14 for $2,050 (plus an additional $250 for aftermarket coilovers that it originally came with).

UG said 34.8. Been over 2 months since my last fuel-up thanks to using the Jeep for most of my City driving due to snowy conditions. This means increased Hwy miles and better FE this tank. But nearly all of this tank was driven in temps between -15* and 15* F, which is an FE killer.

First tank back on the skinnier (185), lower rolling resistance All-Season tires, which accounts for the better FE in these cold temps (30 degrees). UG said 39.2

UG said 37.1. This was the last tank of the year on the wide (205) Dunlop Direzza Z1 StarSpec Extreme Performance summer tires. Temps around 40 degrees F for the majority of this tank hurt FE. Changed to 185 width all-seasons on 11/2/13.

1st tank with brand new summer tires, which are super wide, and SUPER sticky (205/50/15 Dunlop Z1 Star Specs). Rolling resistance was NOTICABLY increased, and the car coasts much less easily now.

Exactly half of this tank was a road trip to Chicago (aprox. 95 miles each way) averaging 45.5mpg. The rest of the tank averaged 40.5mpg and was 70% hwy. This was the last tank on the all-season Firestone tires and steelies, (now on brand new Dunlop Star Specs and lightweight rims until next winter).
