CIVIC DX 5-speed coupe

1997 Honda Civic DX

Standard 5 Coupe (2 Door)

Property of MilwaukeeBeerman Added Mar 2013 Location: Milwaukee, WI

An otherwise stock 1997 Honda Civic DX with manual steering from the factory, and the AC removed by a previous owner. Purchased for $2,000 @ 155k miles in October of 2012, the car required another $750 in maintenance (all fluids replaced, tuneup with dist cap & rotor, new suspension components, dash lights, new windshield washer pump, drivers door window regulator & channel, door check strap, and a pressure switch to operate dome light). That $750 does not include money spent on new rims and tires ($350 on tires after mounting labor, $300 on rims). I replaced the heavy, bent steels rims with lightweight, upsized ones (11.9 lbs Konig Feathers, 15x6.5) from DiscountTireDirect.com. New tires (for 2013) are 185-60-15 Firestone Precision Touring all-season tires - the #1 rated all-season tire today according to TireRack (only $75 a tire). I also have had an UltraGauge installed since my 2nd fillup.

*** Sold car 7/27/14 with 166,000 miles for $2,050 (plus $250 for aftermarket coilovers it had come with, and $600 for aftermarket wheels/tires).
