Kevin's Truck Fuel-up Log

1992 Chevrolet K2500
Property of flainn. Added Oct 18 2014

Showing a single fuel-up

Bottom radiator hose sprung a leak, so Kevin and I replaced both radiator hoses and the thermostat. The truck had no thermostat, formerly. Just the shell of one, for some reason. That explains why it was taking so long to warm up, and possibly part of the reason for the poor fuel economy. I also replaced the ignition control module in the distributor. The truck is now running great. Ignition control module $27.60 on Amazon (I paid for this) Hoses, thermostat, and thermostat seal, $42.64 at O'Reilly (Kevin paid). Two gallons of antifreeze and two gallons of distilled water, $28.71 at Wal-Mart (Kevin paid).
