Bike sat for a while, it would occasionally be run to keep battery charged, but didn't go anywhere while it sat. It was completely out of gas before heading to station; I think I added around half a gallon. 87 octane from BP

87 octane. Adjusted chain per FSM spec, checked all fluids and fixed the rear tire, which was completely flat (again). Right after last fill up I installed a touring windscreen and a new chain and sprockets. I know for sure 65 +-5 miles were to and from school in the rain, but I'm not sure about the other miles...

Ride around 50-55 MPH (4k-4.5k RPM) on commute, 4 days a week, 65 miles a day. Refueled with 87 octane. Went to tighten the chain and realized about 2/5 of the chain will not compress when riding on rear sprocket. (rollers will not seat into grooves, binding the chain.) So for now it has to be operated loose, extra care riding needed. New chain and sprockets coming soon...

Went on a 150-mile round trip to Cloudland Canyon State Park consisting of about 85% of 55 MPH speed zones over mountains. Rest of tank was used for one commute to school (60 miles). Refueled with 87 octane.

Refueled with 87 octane. Installed new clutch cable, original one broke on me while riding through a subdivision in first gear. Pulled the lever to make a u-turn and I felt it pull loose...luckily I was able to make the 3 mile ride home without coming to a complete stop. The bike sat completely untouched for 6 days waiting on the new cable.

Before I went to fuel up this tank, I checked the rear tire pressure and it didn't even move my gauge...so my past two fillups were calculated with a completely flat back tire! I was wondering why when I went around curves and over mid-road ridges it felt like the swing arm bushings were loose...the tire just looked like it was fine and was rock hard though. Refueled with 87 octane.

First fuel-up since the bike became road legal. Fueled with 87 octane. Carbs sound like they need synced. New plugs, new front tire, chain lubed, new front fork seals, new front brake pads, new engine oil, new oil filter. Needs air filter.
