North Platte, Nebraska, to Omaha, Nebraska. Ran the fuel down almost into the red, trying to get within range of Iowa City without making another stop. We had to stop after all. By the way, thanks for Nebraska DOT for the suggestion on their electronic sign, approaching Omaha, to take I-680 to bypass the city. It worked out great, and we got to go over the Mormon Bridge, the dedication of which my mom attended in 1953. End odo 118,079.
