Seems like Chevron was a REALLY lousy mileage. I wonder if I have a bigger problem with my MAF sensor? If it's that bad, I'm back to the cheap stuff at San Anselmo hub

--Two fill-ups (ignore range) Appears to be very high mileage from the South Weed Shell station Also includes Shell D2 and 1 gal of Shell B99 from Aurora OR At TDI Fest, I heard some unpleasant details about my Biodiesel source, and so I'll no longer be using the San Anselmo station.

Added $20 in Rosamond, drove through Bishop and Lee Vining, over Tioga and back to home station in San Anselmo. 'Twas hot: peaks of 105 F while leaving San Fernando Valley, and 100 leaving Yosemite Park. Car ran horribly (in limp mode) from Buckeye Flat until we paused to cool off in 100 F Oakdale. Peak temperature at Don Pedro reservoir: 107 F After 30 minutes with engine off and hood up in 100 F shade with a zephyr, car operated normally all the way home and seems 100% tonight.

This mileage based on Salinas station Arco petroDiesel Trying Chevron for supposed higher Cetane rating = better mileage. Within 2 miles, I can detect a noticeable difference---in my lumbar as I am significantly pressed into my seat. The engine feels like it did when I first got the car last September. I've been using lousy fuel!!
