New battery installed at Vyletel Volkswagen, replacing nine year old battery on its last legs..

Changed oil and filter. Used Mobil 1 oil 0W-40 & Mobil 1 Extended Performance filter M1-204A. Apparently did not lubricate the oil filter gasket sufficiently because there was a very slight leak at the oil filter and the filter couldn't be thoroughly tightened (i.e. 3/4 turn after gasket contacts base). Had to take the filter off (very hard to turn when removing it to the point where it bent the oil filter wrench) to lubricate the gasket some more. Thoroughly lubricated the gasket and reinstalled filter. OK after that.
