Replaced 5the gear with a .658 gear set I bought from eBay. Used Lubi Moly GL4+ gear oil and a new cover gasket.

Replaced oil and filter. Used Schaeffers Supreme 9000 and a Mann oil filter. Used a can of diesel purge in the nozzles.

Changed oil for the final time for the cam break in process. Drove a little under the 2500 miles before changing. Used the Schaeffers oil and Mann filter. Will now up the change interval to to 10k moving forward. Had valve cover off, all looked good. Just some polishing of the lobs. Nothing out of the ordinary.

Replaced OEM fuel filter and canister with a Napa Gold heavy duty 2 micron filter (NAPA Gold 3528). Used filter head and two 1/2 NPT to 5/16 barb adapters for the lines.

Replaced engine break in oil with Schaeffer's 9000 Supreme and an oil filter.

Replaced cam, lifters, cam bearings, cam seal, timing belt(belt, water pump, idle roller, tensioner & serpentine belt, serpentine belt tensioner), cam cap bolts, injector rocker bolts(re-usable). Used the complete kit from Frank Irving(FrankTDI). Pulled the oil pan and checked the oil pump for wear, was good to use. Put in new G13 coolant and Joe Gibbs break in oil.

Had tires road forced balanced at discount tire. All tires were balanced except the right rear. Was beyond the limit when balanced. Did the best that could be done.

Changed oil with filter. Used Mobil 1 TDT. Changed transmission fluid with valvoline synchromesh.

Installed Panzer plate, wired and installed fog lights, rotated the tires, installed mud flaps and completed a diesel purge treatment directly to the nozzles.
