Lots more idling for warm up. More wind, and wet conditions. Commute will be changing again. Most likely my last fillup in this thing for a 2013 Jetta TDI. I loved this car, but I need lower insurance cost.

New 18" wheels. Wider rubber too so that'll take a hit on mileage a bit. Cooling off a lot now. Average temps are around 0c. And there was a huge windstorm for 2 days straight and it was either against me, or a cross wind. MFI: 5.7

Just did 15,000km oil change at 13,800kms. The rest of warm weather with no A/C but it's starting to get cold for winter.

Did a trip from Calgary to swift current. Went 550 kilometres and took 30 litres. Not bad! MFI: 5.4 l/100km

Warm weather less wind. 750km to a tank full is awesome, especially considering it's only a 50 litre tank And had about 3 litres left so I could probably do 50km more which means an 800km range. MFD: 5.7.

Hard driving, achieved 190km/h going up a steep hill with 4 friends in the back. MFI:6.8l/100km. Turns out, it wasn't burning oil, I was just measuring it on an angle.

Cold temps but less idling. In -10c and colder, I put the car in a heated shop. Probably helps economy that way because the engine isn't so stiff. Break-in period is going well, but I've noticed that the oil level is decreasing. Hope its just because it's a new engine.
