#232. Car ran better on this past tank. Paid for diagnosis a few weeks ago. Dealer said there was a fault associated with the exhaust flap. They also detected an unhooked oxygen sensor. The VCDS scan I took before taking to dealer showed fault with exhaust temp sensor and they found that disconnected too. After they reattached the two disconnected components (probably from their shit work when they replaced the DPF a few months ago), the car seemed to run normal. I disassembled the exhaust flap myself and it looked clean and was functioning correctly (so I didn't install the one I had shipped from IDParts). Constant regen symptom seems to have been from the components that were dangling. When I got the car back, I noticed that the tech had failed to replace the cooling reservoir cap, so combined with not needing the exhaust flap, I am disappointed with dealer's work quality. I paid about $170 for their scan.
