Borrowed mom's car for commute to work 6 times, 40km one way, prius trip meter showed 4.5avg before refuel. Record low price of $1.01 not seen since 2016. Bought winter tires+steel rims used for $280 and installed at 207918km, hankook ipike 185/65r14 so odometer is now higher by 5%.

refuel in chicago, bp 2.99 everywhere else 3.20 per gallon, 8.2 gal and paid $25 which would be $40 in canadian prices. prius trip 641 km, 4.7 efficiency.

usa road trip - citgo michigan $2.99 usd per gallon which is $1.00 cad per litre wow. tank almost empty, filled up 8.3 gallons or 32 litres for only $25 usd efficient hwy driving measured 4.9 at 120, 4.7 at 110, 4.3 at 100 km/h, trip average about 4.8 i think

trip info shows 5.2 avg, I drove to work with 4.2/3.7 fuel usage, started flashing empty before reaching 32L mark earlier than always so I filled up without coupon. Morning price 136.9, CT price 126.9 it's crazy nowadays. Should check sparkplugs and oil soon, may need replacement.

I drove my mom's car for a week with eco mode on to get impressive fuel efficiency. trips to work averaged 4.2-4.5 L/100 on prius gauge which is about 8% optimistic. cold weather and mostly long highway trips with traffic
