Mostly trips to Deadwood. Filled up at Exxon (85 Octane) in Spearfish. 54.0 mpg indicated. Found out tire pressures were 3-5 lbs. low all around. Don't know how long they have been low. Set to 42/40.

End of trip from Joshua Tree, then trip to Riverside, then trip Big Bear Lake, CA. Drove 249 miles and filled in N. Las Vegas at Sam's Club. Had lunch at In and Out. Drove speed limit mostly with some hypermiling first half of tank

Ended trip in Yucaipa, CA on Saturday and filled up today. 100 degree weather during trip. Highway speeds of 65-70 MPH with hilly terrain. Used some hypermiler techniques when possible. Next tank will be more city driving.

Continue via Interstate 80. Overnighted in Mesquite, NV at Virgin River Casino.Filled in Henderson, NV with 9.1 gallons. Grabbed 2.6 gallons in Mesquite and added it to total fill. Mountain driving. Tried to stay out of power range when climbing. Used Truck Lane at speeds under 60 mph while climbing. Some drafting. Temperature over 102. Air conditioner on Cool or 65. The air conditioner is awesome but kills mileage.

Picked up new car from Stevinson Toyota in Aurora, CO. 84 miles were on speedometer when I bought it and tank was down a pip so I added a phantom 1.3 gallons to bring the average more in line. Actual fill was 5.63 gallons for 261 miles. Filled in Grand Junction, CO. Driving I-80 from Denver to California. Lots of mountain driving. Tried to stay out of power range. Truck Lane at speeds 48-53 mph while climbing and stay out of power zone. Some drafting. Cruising speed between 65-70.

Picked up from Stevinson Toyota East in Aurora, CO. Sales person Sean Minihan. Sale went as smooth as I could have hoped for. Took 2 hours from start to finish.
