cold weather, lots of wind and rain and frosty mornings. added full grill block (95% covered) just before filling up... temps seem fine.

stopped pulse and glide to reduce clutch wear (although I'm still coasting to junctions and lights)... lots of 5th gear @ 30mph (1200rpm) 70mpg cruising. Fitted new grillblock made of plastic for the winter to keep warm air under the bonnet

New pumps at Asda, 2x 32 mile trips (64 miles) on quiet A roads at around 55-60mph (this actually lowered my avg MPG from 71mpg down to 68mpg according to my gauge) I also changed my acceleration Rpm range from 1500-2000rpm to 2-3000rpm and it seems to have worked

Decided to go longer between fuel ups to see if I could get 400+ mile range as advertised and if running my tank lower (which would make the car lighter) would effect my MPG... Still had 5L in the tank... Enough for about 65 miles
