Puncture to rear tyre. Slate chipping penetrated centre portion of tread area leaving a 1cm gash. RAC recovery and mushroom plug as a get home only. New tyre already ordered.

Replaced mechanical back brake switch with hydraulic switch. This fixed the issue with salt and dirt getting thrown onto the mechanical switch from the front wheel, jamming it and leaving the brake light permenantly on!
