Right on 1000 miles at 3rd fill-up. Changed oil/filter at 993 miles....it looked black in collection pan, but was only slightly dark on the dip-stick. Used the Subaru Idemitsu oil with Japanese OEM Tokyo Roki black filter. The blue ones from the dealer are made in the US by Fram, I believe. Still driving gently during engine break-in. 31.5 mpg on computer vs 29.2 actual....7.9% high which is a bit better from last tank. Loving the car!!
