Tyres just done yesterday. Engine light came on last Fri (tank was nearly empty, less than 1/4 left). Mechanic recommended putting in the expensive Shell or similar 'performance' diesel to clear out crap from tesco's dodgy diesel, and told me not to use tesco again. Sure enough, I put in £10 of standard Shell diesel (they ran out of the expensive stuff) and engine light went out! immediately!
