Shell 95. It's the first time trying this fuel. To be honest I can't tell any difference between this and the others.

Caltex 95. It's quite amazing how I drove very hard on this tank (lots of flooring) and still got a pretty decent figure. Changed to Caltex, to test for power. First impressions: it sure feels rougher than Primax 95 Xtra.

Petronas Primax 95 Xtra. Heh, 7.6 L / 100 km, without leaving Penang Island? It's my best so far ^_^ Looks like the "new" Xtra formula is starting to work ;) To reward myself, I'm driving hard on this tank :P So expect the graph to go up again xD

Petronas Primax 95 Xtra. Yeah I know it's quite bad. This tank was ruined by the heavy load (passengers :P) and traffic over the weekend so I decided to abort economy mode halfway after about 200 km. I think I have a better shot at touching 400+ on weekdays so fingers crossed ^_^

Petronas Primax 95 Xtra. I'm quite puzzled as I didn't quite reach 400 km on the last tank. Oh well, better luck with this one. Just pumped my tyres this morning to 35 PSI front and 33 rear. Hope that helps.

Petronas Primax 95 Xtra. Like the previous tank I drove very hard on this one. Last Saturday on the 23rd I drove about 100+ km with four other passengers so this drop in efficiency is wholly expected. Now it's time to be frugal and go for a best mileage attempt to see if the formula is improved compared to pre-Xtra. It's gonna be weird driving efficiently again :|

Petronas Primax 95 Xtra. Drove really hard on the last tank (frequent 4-5k RPM revs), but still used the more free flowing routes. Could have touched 400 km again actually but decided not to risk it. I'm going to continue driving hard on this tank and then do a best mileage attempt on the next one.

Petronas Primax 95 Xtra. As expected I've gotten marginally better figures, proving that it's not quite the petrol but the driving style and traffic conditions. Still made some short inefficient trips but not as many previously. Did a significant amount of heavy traffic driving. Expect a much worse figure for the next tank because I'll be driving a lot harder.

Caltex 95. I tried really, really hard on this tank, taking the really long (but smooth) way home, switching off my engine at long lights, restraining from sprinting away at traffic lights etc. And this is the result ^_^. I think I can actually improve it further, because I was forced to make several short (and inefficient) trips this week. Gonna try and aim for the 400 km barrier again ;)

Petronas 95. Did a Motor Hunt in George Town on Saturday, 19 March 2011; must have covered about 100 km. The start-stop nature cost me about 50 km of mileage >_< Darn it my average for this month just shot sky high. But we still had fun anyway ^_^

Caltex 95. One return trip to Sungai Petani, 120 km total. Outgoing trip was gentle but I went a lot faster on the way back ;)

Caltex 95. From now onwards I think I'm gonna fill only after 400+ km, seeing that there's still 8 litres left after driving with the warning light on for 30+ km.

Esso 95 The last 80 km or so was done driving from Air Itam to Batu Ferringhi -> Teluk Bahang -> Balik Pulau -> Air Itam and home with four pax. I think this fill is slightly inaccurate, when the nozzle tripped it trickled very slowly and I probably didn't fill it to the brim. So I guess the actual consumption is slightly worse than 8.5

Caltex 95. I was not driving with economy in mind with this last tank. Was carrying people (3-5 pax) half the time, with somewhat heavy acceleration. Despite all these factors, 9.0 L / 100 km is still somewhat reasonable. Will try and keep a lighter foot for this tank and see if it improves. PS - RON 95 is rough and jerky at low speeds. In terms of power, there's not as much difference as I thought.
