Round trip and back out to the sticks a few times (are the sticks really that close?), played in snow, saw some friends, and pretty much spent all that time doing city driving.

Yucatan Safari Winter Rally. Nearly zero concerns for MPG. Did pretty well, all things considered. Mostly gravel, there was some ice. Some of those miles were actually wheelspin.

Snow is here, yadda yadda. Drift. Traffic. I forget what else. The N Oxy pump was really slow, so it's mostly normal 92 oct.

Holy cow. Six days of only driving to and from work? I don't think that there was anything special about that. An older gentleman in a GTI gave me a thumbs up, though. That was new and cool. 15c prem for N Oxy. Average speed 40.77mph.

Not sure how much I trust this fillup. Did a lot more hwy driving than I expected. Oil change 11-16 @ 110503 mi. Earlier this week an Elantra tried to pass me on an onramp. Ha. 15c prem for N OXY.

CC @ ~62-68 depending on limit. Started off with a strong headwind, which royally sucked. Can't get a break. 3:19 drive time, 20c prem for N OXY. Just drove a ton of miles.

3:13 driving time, worse econ than I expected. This was CC @ 75mph got 90% of the time. Won't make it home on this tank, so fill up here and see how it compares to the second half.

Thanks to that dump pump, this looks bad. "super" unleaded is 89 octane with 10% ethanol? That's stupid, too. 5:23 driving time, from Billings only to New Salem (again thanks to stupidpump).

From Bismarck, ND to Billings, MT in 5:45 driving time. Cruise at 75 vs 77 made mpg better. Not sure if I trust the fill-up, could altitude have something to do with that?

Nov 7 2013

I made it to Bismarck, ND so far! Filled up with 89 octane, because a lot more hwy is to follow. First headwinds hurt mpg, then the 75mph limit in ND also brought it down. Bummer.

As expected, last tank was not a full fill and this one made up for that. Just the usual bs this week. Took the longerish way home because of stupid construction. The week was nice while the weekends were rainy. 20c prem for n oxy.

Stopped early a couple times, not sure about this fill. Driving to work and back, then Cars & Coffee. Then, what else? I dunno, not too much in particular. The low fuel went off right as I was turning in to the gas station, second time in a row! 20c prem on N OXY.

Drove back from Lambrecht Chevrolet auction in Nebraska, to kato. Spent the night, partied a little, stayed the day, hung out, then drove home. The low fuel light came on literally as I pulled up to the pump. Literally.

Sep 27 2013

20c premium continues. Windows down, construction continues so I've said, "I'm just going to detour instead." It's fine. Drove to a get-together last weekend, that contributed to less city driving. Radio is out, so that's weight reduction, right?

20c premium for N OXY, this was really the boringest tank in a while, too. I filled up early to guarantee I could make a longerish drive to and back that night. Probably would've made it either way.

So much random driving. Sick of the oxygenated fuel, there was only a 10c premium on non. Didn't take special care for mpg, and need a wash.
