Stopped @ Nissan, as the TPMS light has come on several times now for the driver's rear tire. Titan tires topped off with air (NOT nitrogen, as I was in a hurry and did not have an appointment) at 90981, driver's rear tire at 55 and all others down to about 62

1) oil change @ Fairbanks Nissan 2) fuel filters changed @ Fairbanks Nissan 3) starter repairs (main battery cable was loose and severely corroded, they cleaned it up and retightened it) 4) ECM reprogrammed under recall The starter was repaired after failing to operate correctly on our intended trip to Ninilchik. I paid the overpriced maintenance costs because the truck is due for them and I cannot currently do anything with my right arm, recovering from surgery still.

After picking the truck up on 1/10/2020 from the transfer case replacement, I discovered later that night that the reverse camera was no longer functioning. Fairbanks Nissan repaired it under warranty and the notes indicate that the break in the wiring harness was found under the passenger front door. This suggests that they nicked it while working on the transfer case, but the real cause is unknown.

1) On 12/27/19 during my commute to work, I had the transfer case on the truck completely fail. It is due to a design flaw in a small number of the very early 2016 build trucks (like mine). This was covered under warranty and so I have a brand new transfer case. 2) This means getting new transfer case fluid as well 3) Their tech discovered a coolant leak at one of the EGR block plates. It was repaired with sealant and this required them draining at least partial coolant - so I had them replace the coolant filter with a new Napa Gold. 4) they adjusted the coolant for the intensity of the cold up here. I got the truck back on 1/10/2020 after having a free loaner since 12/28/19 (2018 Titan XD V8 gas)

Fuel lift pump and under-frame fuel filter assembly replaced by Fairbanks Nissan service department. The lift pump was audibly failing. This also required the fuel filter to be replaced. 80458

Purchased a second K1063 reusable air filter from S&B. Swapped it on, cleaned the original one (which was WELL overdue and also thoroughly soiled by wildfire smoke for 4000 miles)... and now I can hotswap as I go and let the cleaned filter dry in the cab.

The techs of Firestone Boise ID (6690 W Fairview Ave) also spot checked the ball joints and tie rod ends - all of them looked surprisingly OK. They also indicated that the rear tires were cupped pretty badly. This makes sense, as I was 5000 miles overdue for a rotation and there is a huge amount of weight on the rear end.

Replaced Wix 24070 with NAPA Gold 4070 (also made by Wix), to ensure there was no blockage causing the coolant level to fluctuate. The coolant in the filter came out nearly perfectly clean. A few (4 or 5) tiny specs of black particulate matter floating in it. No indication of any oil (milkiness) at all.
