Big repair at Bassons: Inv# Air Flow Trace airflow failure wiring Check airflow values Research on system Phoned for quotes and availability on part Locked Time spend 7 Hours = R2450.00 less discount, charged R1550.00 NB, no fault codes was on system for airflow meter, but had to look at values, had to carry out fault finding. Intercooler Strip boost pipes to check Had to trace, found through past experience that inter cooler should be removed and checked. Remove intercooler . Found damage on tube, had to replace inter-cooler, but we made a plan and repaired it to save costs. Locked Time spend 9.5 Hours = R3325.00 less discount, charged R2450.00 NB, again no fault codes, had to trace and carry out fault finding. Turbo Drive and do value checks on vehicle Strip and check circuits on vehicle After numerous hours the decision was made to remove turbo and have it checked. Checks performed , found faulty unit. Phoned for quotes and availability on part. Quotation provided and declined. Locked Time spend 12 Hours = R4200.00 less discount, charged R2500.00 NB, again no fault codes on turbo Exhaust Remove exhaust Strip Decat system Minimum de-cat charge rate is = R1500.00 less discount, charged R700.00. Sundries used worked out just over R400.00 less discount we charged R269.49. Please be advised that as per company policy we do not accept any parts from customers, but made the exception for you to save you costs.
