DIY oil change for Miata. Use Mobil1 5w30 oil and Fram Ultra Synthetic filter XG6607. Right around 4 quarts to fill. Use a 17mm wrench or oil for oil pan drain bolt.

Car was stalling and bucking intermittently. Took to Tucson Foreign Car Specialists. They cleaned EGR and MAF, reset computers and issue seems gone.

Experienced a slight misfire on part throttle at ~2500rpm and off idle. Changed 2 plug wires to NIB OEM wires, no effect. Changed coils to Beck & Arnley aftermarket units, problem seems to be resolved but it will take more miles to know for sure.

Replaced transmission fluid (with Ford Motorcraft synthetic XT-M5-QS), includes shift turret oil. Replaced differential fluid (with Motul Gear 300 synthetic 75w90) Replaced brake fluid (with ATE SYP 200 synthetic) Replaced clutch fluid (with ATE SYP 200 synthetic) Replaced power steering fluid reservoir contents twice (with Redline PS synthetic) All fluids that came out looked pretty good to great, with the exception of the diff fluid which was very dark in color. Replaced torn shift turret upper and lower boots, replacements from RSpeed. Replaced damaged coolant reservoir tank with new OEM tank. Replaced spark plugs with OEM NGK copper plugs. Replaced ignition coils with Beck-Arnley aftermarket units (preventative). Replaced camshaft position sensor with OEM unit (preventative). Added speed bleeders to all brake calipers. Added a broadway mirror.
