We call it the CAN (it's 1/2 car and 1/2 van; Car + vAN = CAN) It's a Typical Mazda 5 albeit with a manual transmission - OH YEAH! This machine works for it's living I tell ya..Pulls my boat pulls a utility trailer, takes a family of 5 to the lake and back with all our gear. Cruises in heat waves and takes us through snow storms. Everything from +40c July days to bitterly cold -40c January winter nights. The ultimate test of a vehicles dependability, I should think. If you want to test a vehicle for reliability - I'll put it to the test for ya. That said regular maintenance is critical. Oil changes every 5000km (3000km in the winter) Additionally she gets a thorough wax job (and tar removal) twice a year - for being such a trooper. I have nothing but good things to say about the Mazda 5 so far.
