Meijer 93 octane. Took my car in for service. Forward facing camera failure. Out of warranty cost me $1,400.60. I had 16% gas in the tank before service. That is 1.9 gallons remaining. Tank went to empty, 0 miles remaining while I drove home.

For several weeks the forward sensing camera has continually malfunctioned. 4 months out of warranty it cost me $1,400.60 to have the dealership replace it. Now speed limit / stop sign recognition, lane departure warning/lane keep, and radar cruise control are working again. 40 months and 32,667 miles.

Meijer 93 octane. Unseasonably warm weather has helped mileage. I checked my tire pressures late morning before driving. East-facing tires were 43 rear and 44 PSI front. West side tires were 42 rear and 43 PSI front. I let out 2 PSI from all four tires.

On 1-14-2024 at 30,152 miles on the odometer I swapped out the Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 tires on 18-inch alloy wheels for the Bridgestone Blizzak WS80 winter tires on 16-inch steel wheels I've had since December 2017 on my 2018 Mazda 3 FWD sedan I traded in on the 2021 Mazda 3 AWD Turbo. All four Blizzak tires have worn evenly with 8/32 inch of tread remaining over the 6 winters.

Half-filled tank from 6-gallon gas can of 87 octane. Filled gas can and tank with Meijer 87 octane. Many morning remote starts for 5-10 minutes to defrost windshield before driving to work has lowered MPG this tank.

Meijer 87 octane 6 gallons from gas can refilled. 3 gallons from pump. Weather turning cold. Using remote start 10 minutes in the morning before drive to work. One fewer weekend freeway roadtrip this tank. More city driving this tank.

Replaced wiper blades at 27,385 miles. After several cleanings of the originals in the last year for leaving streaks I replaced the wiper blades with Rain-X Silcone AdvantEdge, boasting 2X Longer Lasting. $36.99 for left and right each, and a gallon of Rain-X 2-in-1 washer fluid for a total cost of $80.00 at Autozone.
