Disconnected battery to "retrain" the ECU for various modes. Had a fun drive on back country roads. Other than that tried to drive super economically. Used ECO for engine braking and driving economically, used Normal mode when going up big hills, and used Sport mode only for the fun drive.

Used ECO for long slow down coasting and city driving. On medium distance slow downs I downshifted to a gear that would give moderate engine braking, but not stress the transmission. I tried to stay in a single gear for most of the decel, to maximize engine braking.

Road trip to Eugene and back. Reported 33mpg. Drove between 60 and 75 most of the way. Used Eco on the way down and had it off on the way home. Passed people / varied speed more than I should - could have gotten better.
