The last fuel up for old Suzie. She's served me well for almost 10 years and never skipped a beat and when something did go, it was easy to fix or repair. I put on about 120 000kms on her in this time, which is actually pretty low.

This will probably be the last tank of fuel for the Suzie. Decided that I need a bakkie with ABS and some more safety. I'm really going to miss her. She's served me well and has clocked up some really impressive fuel consumption numbers.

Oil service done including new crankshaft seal and sump gasket. New air filter, diesel filter and new water lines for the thermostat. Clutch also bled for the 2nd time as the cap wasn't sealing properly and contamination was getting in. The bakkie feels great again. Due to take it to Potch today for a pick up. 500kms round trip, all should go well. Next service at 261 000kms.

Running AC the whole month due to the heatwave, Suzie still did just under 10, for city driving which is fine by me. Service time soon.

Just been running better and better on the 50ppm. Price today was R15.75 per litre of 50ppm, my regular garage is R16.06 for 500ppm.

Bakkie has been running nice on the 50ppm, not noticing any less power, way less smoking upon start up and acceleration though. Fuel consumption is maybe a bit less, but the fact that I'm getting 50ppm 30 cents a liter cheaper than 500ppm from shell, offsets it. Next weekend is a new oil pan gasket.

Ran the bakkie on 50ppm from Engen as they're selling it for a good 30c cheaper per litre than caltex sells their 500ppm, no brainer. Bakkie smokes a whole lot less and burns way cleaner. Consumption did seem a little down though.

First time that I could get 500PPM and not much cheaper. We filled up at Villiers as the restaurant was better and the service better. This should get me back home and also see me through most of next week. Bakkie is running great and I'll push her a bit harder on the way home and take her to 110-120km/h to try and skip the Johannesburg traffic, which we are set to hit at about 1-2pm. Note next time to fill up at the windmills and also to do breakfast there as the place seemed great.

filled up for the trip home. Previous tank netted almost 12km/litre and driving at 100-80 as the roads were seriously limited. Bakkie has been going great while down here and have been driving to Margate mixed in with daily drives to the beach and or store. Loads of comments on the bakkie and people want her.

Filled up at mooiriver upon leaving Clarence. Diesel was damn expensive here and won't fill up here or frequent the one stop garage either. Crap toilets. Bakkie is going great. Issues with the clutch seem to be sorted and she's going like a steam-train. Checked the oil level and can't notice it going down at all. Windage maybe?

Bakkie filled up for holiday tomorrow. Serviced last week at 243500. Also have to check for an oil leak on the oil pan and also inspect the crank shaft seal on the front to see if that's holding out. Will check when I'm back from holiday. Next service at 251000km

She's driving like a champ. Loaded 5 tonnes of rubble on her to take to the dumping site and loaded her upto her max and still got great mileage.
