Ultra Platinum Penzoil 0w20 - $31 but I applied for a $10 rebate. Bought 2 other jugs 5w20 and 0w20. Changed oil and filter. Oil filter ring stayed on and sprayed oil everywhere. Had to remove and replace filter after removing extra O-ring stuck on.

Costco - new tires installed Michelin Premier LTX H 235/60R17 102T replaced core on REAR LEFT - recommended I replace other cores @ $5 each

- alternator failed - high whining sound - dash lights came on - check battery charging, ABS, VSA, etc. + wouldn't shift into drive - Mississauga Honda (700 = alt, 400 = labour) - also warning of loose right front ball joint ($525) - right front axle seal leaking ($281) - reset B1 maintenance minder service code

Changed to summer tires. Rotated front to back. Back tires had more tread. Now those tires are rotated to the front, and front now has most tread. front now = 6-5/32, rear now = 5-4/32

- grinding brakes driver rear - uneven wear with drivers outer rear pad worn down to metal - inside pad still had about half left - scored discs - changed with Wagner OE Spec brakes - used silicone paste too - initially did not put metal shim on

- back today from long Disney Florida trip - B12 maintenance light came on during trip - added 1 L of oil during trip - changed oil 4.4 L 5w20 mobil and M1-110 mobil 1 filter - drained and recovered 3.2 L oil

Bridgestone Ecopia tire wear remaining DF 6-7/32 PF 6 /32 DR 5-6/32 PR 5-6/32 - changed from winter tires to all seasons today - put greater tread up front - snows coming off of car had greater tread left on front, suggesting that rears experience more tread wear?
