Return trip from Sioux Falls, SD to Minneapolis, MN. Sunny day, moderate wind. Kept speed at 55 miles per hour the whole [long] way. I am blown away by the result. Just over a quarter of a tank of gas!?

Tank was the road trip to Sioux Falls. Lots of rain and mixed driving. The remainder of the tank after reaching Sioux Falls was just driving around the city.

Last Tank: Mobil. Didn't go too hard on the engine, but I drove it much harder than I normally do. Used the A/C, had more sudden stops, and several instances of heavier acceleration. Finally broke 30 miles per gallon. It's about time.

Last Tank: SuperAmerica. While I didn't redline the car at all, I did drive the car more "normally" than I typically do. A/C from time to time, more rapid acceleration. Not bad considering. Still waiting to break 30 miles per gallon...

Last tank: Shell Station. This tank was expected to be the best so far. No A/C used at all and next to no rapid accelerating or braking. About a 70/30 blend of highway/city, and I still can't break thirty miles per gallon. This is extremely disappointing for how conservatively I drive.
