Symptoms: Loud bearing noise from transaxle when idling, noise is significantly reduced when clutched. Trans oil leaking from clutch housing/engine mating face/joint. Heavy clutch slippage under load, suspect due to trans oil on clutch. Confirmed, transaxle input shaft bearing failure. Deferred engine crankshaft main seal due to lack of tools to remove flywheel bolts. No noticeable leaks from engine main seal. Installed throw-out bearing from PTQ clutch kit.
