Having the Valves checked by Dave Wilkins The Workshop 59 Jasmine Grove, London SE20 8JY 020 8249 7940 All valves withing spec. Camchain is fine as well. Bike baffle back in as bike was a bit lean on running.

Changed Oil and Filter. New K&N Oil Filter fitted. 44196 Miles. £10 for the oil filter and oil was purchased last year as a bulk buy. Air filter is clean.

Changed Spark plugs on the bike. New Iridium plugs fitted. Bike starts on the button and is a tad smoother. Old ones had 14K on them.

Track Day at Brands Hatch on 21/11/2015. Snow cleared away by 9.30am. Had a brilliant day and managed to lap 7 seconds faster than a fellow on CBR600RR... nothing like having a bit of confidence in the corner speed of the mighty CBF500!

Valve Clearances Check. (no change required, all in spec) Valve clearance (intake): KALT 0,16 ± 0,02MM Valve clearance (exhaust): KALT 0,25 ± 0,02MM New Honda OEM Rocker Gasket from David Silver Spares Carbs Balanced were balanced as they were out of synch. Work carried out at Amazing Bikes in Dareth Industrial Park.

All Honda OEM Parts from David Silver Spares. New Pistons for front caliper, new seals, inners and dust seals. New pad pin and new caliper bolts. All fitted and brake bled through with no issues.

Oil, oil filter and front brake pads changed at 31734 miles. All sorted easily with no issues. Will strip and do front calliper in the next 1k miles. Halfords 10W40 semi synthetic, Hiflo filter. OEM Honda Brake Pads.

Changing out rear shock absorber for a newer one from a 2010 CBF600. Spring was cleaned, rust taken off with dremel and sealed with KuRust and then repainted with Hammerite silver. New seals fitted, roller bearings cleaned and regreased with fresh grease. Mounting areas cleaned out with degreaser and sealed with KuRust to prevent rust forming in lower mount area on swingarm. Preload set to one notch over 1/2 way to give good ride height.

Oil and Filter change after trip to Ireland. Bike has done circa 4500 since last oil and filter change. No oil used and no top ups required. Bike running smoothly.
