Sat work, changed plugs Sunday and went for brief test drive, Monday drove ~100km hwy to circulate seafoam in crancase prior to oil change; oil changed using Quaker State 5W30 full synthetic (deal @ CDN Tire for $5.39/L, bought 2 changes worth); OLM was at 24% at time of change, with ~7300km on it since purchase/last change (@178047km); then worked slow Monday shift - feels like it waas running a tad smoother & quieter overall

Mon work shift w/ 2 long hwy road trips, BUT mileage is expected to take a hit on this one, since last nite I finished the fuel system Seafoam treatment, with 1/2 can via brake vacuum line, plus 1 full can via throttle body (spray). This required lots of engine revving and idling plus aggressive driving afterward to burn off deposits

Have been driving on same tank of gas since 09/05 fuel up where I added a full can of Seafoam to the gas tank. Because this concentration is not quite what mfr recommends, I also added another 1/2 can with 1/2 tank full after work ~Friday the 7th. Ran the tank until near empty before filling here. Tank use includes 4 shifts plus trip to CP for kids birthday, 60% city miles calculated from records

Added 1 full can Seafoam to full gas tank today, will not fill tank until near empty; Also bought another can for application in vacuum line and crankcase before upcoming oil change (OLM at 33% after about 6k km driven since purchase) and the spray versiom for application thru the throttle body plate

Several ignition cycles this morning saw the P0128 code clear itself, and the CEL go out. Recorded two WOT runs this am for GMTN, after about 30km of hwy cruising, plus worked regular shift tonite

CEL came on tonight inexplicably during highway speed return from extended run to Townline Rd for work; No performance change observed; 5-6 ignition cycles later code had not cleared itself, Onstar on-demand diaganostics returned me a code P0128 which they cited was "engine cooling system not performing as expected". Later research at TV and GMTN revealed it's likely a T-stat sticking open
