this tank had no misfires and new plugs and coilpacks. started new job, 31 mile round trip with 80% freeway

New heater core installed. Had bad misfire due to coolant into the spark plug wells during install, was able to clean it out and put new spark plugs while i was there. Coil packs are good, expecting bad mpg due to the misfires

turned down the SCT tune to 87 to save gas lol, also super turbo quiet af mufflers installed, feel a powerloss or something

Installed some turbo style mufflers instead of straight through mufflers to quiet it down ALOT. I can feel a restriction, but it is probably in my head because it doesn't sound LOUD aka "FAST"

** i come to realize my mpg dropped when i swapped stock intake plenum+ throttle body for smog and switched it back. I may have a very small intake leak that's the best explanation i have i will retorque everything this weekend and see if it improves! a/c use, only city driving long straight roads 50-60 mph school + work moderate stop and go updated tune halfway through tank i am stumped why my mpg plummeted

new oil pan (no more leaks) new power steering line (no more leaks) oil change + restore + marvel mystery oil put in at the end of this tank , so lets see if i get better mpg next tank, new sway bar bushings + stabilizer links

had a slight spark plug blow out , causing to sound like an exhaust leak drove it like that for most of this tank about 90%, finally fixed it with a spark plug rethread kit

my work commute is 15 miles mostly freeway and 15 miles back, somewhat of an improvement instead of street driving but still not as good as before idk why

stumped on this fuel economy issue. Im thinking my SCT tuner update plummeted my MPG or my 02 sensors are going bad. I did hav ea p151 code which was an 02 sensor which i replaced with a used on on one side only. it helped mpg a little bit but not much. just replaced all spark plugs except my 2 time serted plugs which i'll do when i have time

I am unsure why my MPG has plummetted. I suspect that I have a slight exhaust leak on the driver side headers because there are some wet spots on the header and bolt. Update, no exhaust leak

I'm not sure why i'm getting bad fuel economy. It must be because I have an exhaust leak before the 02 sensors. I have welded up a new exhaust setup and fixed the leak let's see if this will fix my fuel economy; also could be my drive belt system my tensioner or a/c pulley might be going out and straining the engine affecting MPG need to fix this ASAP

PCV hose corroded was leaking very bad but didn't notice until check engine came on. fixed when tank was near empty WORST mpg ever check your vaccuum lines! I didn't even drive aggressively this tank, i never hit redline and always kept the rpms low can't believe this affected it this bad

I may be +/- 5-10 miles driven, i have been workin on & off car, had battery disconnected often, have a temporary welded jury rigged stock h pipe for smog that leaks kinda bad, different intake set up/ short ram gets hot
