I think the fuel-up before the last one was not a complete fuel-up. It seems the car clicks off early on some pumps, as I have had other incomplete fuel-ups where the pump clicked off twice, seemingly full.

Unsure if this filled up all the way, as fuel used showed 7.5. Lots of time idling around lost helping Weller, plus running errands. Refueled before the remains of Odile come into town.

Decided to give 87 octane a run for a little while and see if there are any differences. Initial feel is a slight loss of power, and the need to rev more. Should translate to lower economy too. Also, car was just serviced at Jim Click (idling, I'm sure) and the temps have been in the 100s for a couple weeks.

EGR valve module replaced, seems to be running better, but the idle at the dealer hurt. Still running 89 octane, and have switched work commutes to a route that is both shorter in length and time.

It seems that the gas tank isn't being completely filled at every stop. The car showed 12 gallons used, but she took 14. It's not the first time this has happened (it happened on vacation).
