I didn't check on the tires and they were underinflated. Lately it was really cold, often below zero and snowing, plus I wasted a whole liter due to the battery being dead. Having a lead foot lately didn't help either.

I don't know why but the fuel dispenser didn't lock when the tank was full. I think almost half a liter was spilled into the ground. Also the last month I've used my car for towing stuff back and forth to the dump: all those very shorts trips killed the overall fuel economy.

I did the job myself: new Ridex brake pads and rotors as well as a new cabin air filter. You wouldn't believe what it means going 15 years with the same filter!
