Burlington North Kwik Trip E10. Oil was changed by John using Purone filter and Penzoil Platinum 5W20 with some oil fortifier that I had too. Check engine light is still on. John has not told me the mileage from the oil change.

Burlington South Kwik Trip E10. Check engine light came on recently. P0401 was the code John scanned. Checked vacuum hoses to DPFE sensor, good. Replaced DPFE sensor, cleared three codes, and I did not get the other codes before clearing.

Burlington South Kwik Trip E10. Weather was very cold, now moderating. Gas price was as low as $1.88, then up to $1.95, now back to $1.90. Valve cover gasket is beginning to weep oil. Driver's side A arm broke while John was driving, breaking CV axle. Replaced items, alignment, and replace front pads and rotors. 178523

Burlington South Kwik Trip E10. Completed replacement of driver's rear hub; bearing was bad, brake hub very loose. Was probably going for a very, very long time as the Focus now rides very, very quietly.

Burlington South Kwik Trip E10. Just installed new tires, Bridgestone Ecopia 205/50R16s, stock size but smaller than the set I had installed. Mileage is at 176017. Was hoping to reduce noise the Focus is producing as speed increases, but this did little for that.
