Changed front diff oil. The old oil had a lot of water and rust contamination. I cleaned out the inside as best I could. Looks like water has been in there a long time. Used SuperTech 75w-90 full syn.

Drained original green coolant. Flushed system with three quarts of Evap-O-Rust Thermocure and refilled system with pink Fleet Charge (contains SCAs). Added coolant filter. Plumbed Greasecar system into cooling system. Drained transmission, cleaned pan, replaced filter, reused factory gasket, refilled with new SuperTech Dex/Merc. Drained and refilled transfer case with SuperTech Dex/Merc. Replaced passenger side headlight. Also (about 300 miles ago) vacuumed down and replaced AC refrigerant.

Changed the engine oil because the injectors were replaced, which mixes diesel into the engine oil.

In exchange for three dirt bikes, I had Uriah Baldonado replace my eight AA-code injectors with his eight AB-code injectors. It's like a new truck now, much more power and doesn't smell like it's burning oil anymore.

Replaced cam position sensor. Old one was gray; new one is black with purple o-ring (rev C). No difference in idling or around-town driving. (Edit: replacing the CPS cured the missing-at-highway-speed issue).

Oil and oil filter change. I also added 16 oz (one treatment) of Archoil friction modifier. I am already seeing results from the Archoil; the truck is running smoother and not smoking, and has more power. I hope the improvements will continue.

Replaced seven of the eight glow plugs. The replacements are "Bapmic" brand, which I got for cheap on eBay (about $3 each). The eighth -- the front-most on the passenger side -- is stuck in the head. I left that one disconnected. All plugs in the truck previously were Beru (Motorcraft) brand. Three were burned out, including the one stuck in the head. The other five still work. One that was burned out was made in Ireland; the other two, including the stuck one, were made in Germany. The five that are still good consist of four made in Germany and one made in Ireland. I also replaced the glow plug relay (with a genuine Ford one) because I suspected the old one had gone bad. I also replaced the fuel filter. And I put half a bottle of Howe's treatment in each fuel tank.
