Shift tube sheared in god damned half while I had the thing parked across Wyandotte, obviously. Replaced with a shift tube off a Bronco from the pick-n-pull. Original failure looks to have been caused by off-axis forces resulting from two Torx screws connecting shift tube to linkage arm backing off - Loctite all screws thoroughly (read: excessively) this time around.
