2005 SRT-4 ACR *sold*

Purchased brand new at Palmen Motors in Kenosha WI (via dealer trade from Oklahoma City) on May 1st of 2005. I traded in my silver 2003 SRT-4 (the first SRT-4 sold in WI because I put $500 down in October of 2002, six months before the 1st one shipped to WI). After doing research on SRTforums, I'm fairly certain this was also the first ACR SRT-4 sold in WI.

I paid $21,000, excluding the trade value of my '03, which was $13,700 after two days of ridiculously insulting negotiating (and they then put it on the lot the next morning for $17,990 with 30,000 miles after needing zero portering, reconditioning, service, or maintenance). But Palmen was the only Milwaukee area Dodge dealer willing to dealer-trade an Oklahoma City Dodge dealer for the ACR I wanted, a "stripper" optionless model, in white. Palmen, like every other dumbass Milwaukee area dealer, had ordered their limit of two ACR's: both ugly "Burnt Orange" models with both sunroof AND the Kicker subwoofer, because of course they were hoping to gouge someone an extra $300 for that paint color, plus the extra $750 sunroof and however much the subwoofer was.

Five and a half years later, thanks to autocrossing a friend's car, I fell in love with and bought a Honda S2000, and sold this car for $16,000 with 21,000 miles on it to another autocrosser from California. That means this Dodge depreciated less than $1,000 a year. Other than a $300 aftermarket sway bar, $100 cruise control, and a $50 turbo timer, this SRT-4 stayed stock for the entire 5 1/2 years I owned it. Sold October 7th, 2010.
