Stripped the torque converter drain plug. Only replaced 5L of fluid but also did the filter, I should change the fluid and filter again in 20-30k and fix the drain bolt.

Blower motor had been intermittent for a year, they only worked at highway speeds. Got an Amazon replacement for $60, works great! $60 blower, $20 for each filter. Estimated prices.

Injector number 2 had Black Death. Used a puller and replaced that injector. Replaced ALL hold down bolts after cleaning ALL threads. Had to buy puller and lots of other tools plus a new cover $100

New pads and rotors in the back. Also changed the parking brake pads and hardware kit, they were severely worn and rusty. I think they were the originals. ALSO there are NO pad sensors in the back, maybe I should get some and put them on. Tried to rotate tires but the front drivers side was WAY too tight. Broke a wrench on 4’ cheater bar trying to make it work. Also added 12oz of Lucas power steering stop leak, HUGE improvement in steering.

A/C compressor seized. Replaced with Denso, plus new dryer and serpentine belt. I wish I could have done this myself but I didn’t have a way to drain the Freon.

Changed oil and filter, noted no metal on the magnetic plug. Changed a few more hoses in the cooling system and did a flush. Changed the drive belt and two pulleys plus the tensioner. Use a 12pt 17mm socket for tensioner, and E10 socket time get the two bolts off.

All new tires, free off of the internet! Just paid mounting. Old tires had (2) at 2/32 and (2) at 4/32.

Changed ALL the brake lines including all 4 rubber hoses. Several leaks found while bleeding, was able to get them all remedied. Did a complete fluid flush- the old fluid looked like shit. Maybe I’ll start flushing on an annual basis- although with these new lines I should be in much better shape. Changed front parking brake cable. Changed some of the rubber fuel line hoses, swapped for a new fuel pump so that I could use the heater.

Replaced rear inner and outer sway bar bushings, sway bar links. If I ever have to do these again the inner bushings are a PITA and will probably need new hardware. I also inspected the front and rear brake pads (all four wheels) and they all have a LOT of life left. Hard to say exactly how much, but probably 3/4 of the material is still there.

Rear differential fluid change. Couldn’t get the drain plug out so I suctioned with a pump. Put 1800cc of fluid in. Used Mobil 1 Full Synthetic, 75W-90.

Installed a shifter from junkyard. Now my shift sect works!!!! The shifter is “stickier” than my other one, but is completely functional.
