Purchased with 65,500 miles in July of 2015 for $1,800 from Mark Groseth of IL, this car is a fully caged ORIGINAL 'Neon Celebrity Challenge' car.
One of about 24 white sedans that Chrysler made "race ready" with Kirk roll cages installed in 1994 to market the brand new Neon to the public by having celebrities race the car with professional driving instructors, as well as promote the new Neon's ability with SCCA racers (the Neon was so far ahead of its time, it rivaled and often bested all other affordable cars out of the box, including the NA Miata, in SCCA solo and road racing events throughout the mid and late 90's!).
