Its been years since I’ve had good heat from the heater, I finally got around to replacing the heater core. While I was in there I replaced the evaporator core, the blower motor and all the old rotten foam. Below is an itemized list with prices. Odometer 176162 Heater Core – 47.99 Evap Core – 86.99 Blower Motor – 27.99 Evacuate and Recharge of A/C - 156.22 New foam from blend door USA – 53.00 Foam tape – 8.39 HVAC/Fan switch from junk yard – 20.35 2 gallons of antifreeze – 28.00 A/C disconnect tool – 33.58 1/4 to 3/8 ratchet adaptor – 5.99 Double sided tape – 12.16 Liquid Gasket stuff to seal air box x4 – 37.76 I figured I’d change the oil while servicing Oil filter and oil – 52.64 Total cost $581.51
