This shows that tank averages need to be done to get a real idea of the true overall mpg of the car - I did about 80 miles short distance city driving and two trips from chatham to derby and back. Going up was doing gps 70mph where allowed but a fair amount was 50-60mph. Very rainy weather both ways, though going back I did a gps 56mph and was stuck for over an hour at the dartford bridge traffic jam which would have hurt mpg.
