Replaced the stock muffler with a MasterFlow 12269 18" stainless steel performance muffler. $140 muffler and $100 welded install at Muffler Man in Midland. Flapper valve is still inline.

Oil and filter change due to factory overfill or possible fuel contamination. Sample sent to Blackstone Labs and was negative for fuel contamination. This oil change was free. 8 quarts of 0w-20 with a Delco oil filter. Service was performed at Serra Chevrolet in Saginaw MI on Dec 21st. $0 cost and 800 miles on odometer.
