Jul 20 2020

Fuel up after race track day at HPR where the car stalled out on me and had sputtering issues. Not sure if this was a fuel up from the race track or what but the car drove to work a few times in 2019 and then would stall out so after 2 or so times of that, I didn't drive it except for baby announcement photo. Then the car sat with pj being born and I couldn't figure out the problem. Seems like ICU (new one) went back and then the distributor was overheating and not working.

Sep 10 2018

Filled up just to drive the car. Fuel light was on. Had driven to Ken's for D4C planning after a track day but then found clutch noise. Fixed the car slowly in the spring and was successful with the TO bearing repair. had driven a few other places and then up to Brighton like 3 times to get the exhaust fixed with Bryan. Now that's fixed, I just need to fine tune the distributor timing. I think it is too retarded but I need to reset all of it back to stock and hopefully fix some jerkiness. Put on Rial Mesh wheels and took a highway trip up to CO's BMW meet in June. Wrong ignition timing affected fuel economy.

Lapping day, drove for over 18 gallons on the track in rain and then in warm temps. 300km on track before filling up outside of Denver. Car may need timing adjustments and wasn't running perfect, but still did well for reassembling the nights before.

Filled up for Emich track day in 2016 and then drove on the track for a good 4 or 5 sessions. Found out that the car wasn't holding coolant pressure on the highway and trailered it home. Car sat for a year until I had time the other week to get it reassembled with a new headgasket. Drove to Byers and filled up for a lapping day before HPR closes for paving operations.

Drove to and from work after partial fill. Then cat sat in the garage for months while getting married etc. I then replaced exhaust gaskets and had the exhaust rewelded at a failed flange. Also change the gas tank to a non-leaking unit. This is the first fill since, and there was no immediate dripping from underneath.

Drove to work for a day they car sat in storage while I moved. After moving, Tim drove it up to Thornton. I went to work one day and a burger meet until it sat again as I needed to replace the clutch master. Did that, bled the brakes and sped around town. Went to work before I filled up., Turned out it wasn't as low on gas as I thought... 12gal filled her up.
