This tank of fuel was 100% towing our new pop-up tent trailer. It weighs around 1,600 lbs. It towed no problem! Average speed was 70mph. I'm VERY impressed with the torque/power our TDI has! It's a manual transmission. It pulled really good up hills in 4th gear. I even got it up to 85+ mph, felt good! (I have modified suspension which makes it a lot more stable & run a brake controller for the trailer brakes) These mods help keep it very stable.

I recently installed several suspension parts & took the car to AutoX for testing to give Whiteline feedback. I was driving it HARD to and from the track! Haha. Suspension specs: H&R Sport Springs, Whiteline Anti-Lift Kit, Whiteline LCA Bushings, Whiteline 24mm Rear Sway-Bar with Adjustable End-Links (in the full stiff setting) These mods help keep it very stable while towing and the car is VERY responsive on the street or AutoX track! Feels amazing like a true "SPORT Wagon".
