Used Mobil 1 0w-20 for the first time instead of 5w-20. Added Lubegard 30901 Bio/Tech Engine Oil Protectant, 15 oz. Removed positive and negative wires from battery and shorted them together with a screwdriver for one minute to reset some of the settings in the ecu and force it to relearn idle and hopefully fix the low idle at stoplights with brakes applied.

Drained and dropped the pan. Cleaned the pan and replaced the filter. Added 3 quarts of Amsoil Signature Series Fuel-Efficient Synthetic Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATL)3 ATLQT-EA Quantity: 3 Plus 1 quart of Toyota WS fluid Plus 10oz bottle of Lubegard 60902 Automatic Transmission Fluid Protectant

Cleaned drivers side rear brake pads and rotors with brakleen. Replaced hardware. Lubed everything including caliper slide pins. Was squeaking. No more squeaking!! Pads have about 40% left. Groove was full of brake dust on both pads. I think that is what was squeaking. Slide pins were sliding normally. Also removed positive and negative terminals of battery for 1 hour to reset ECU.

Tune up Spark plugs, engine air filter, cabin air filter, ATF drain and fill (have the filter, but didn’t get to use it this time), coolant drain and fill, serpentine belt, alternator (All from AutohausAZ) $172.26 $280 for alternator - remanufactured Denso (price includes paying for 2 day shipping from AutohausAZ and core charge reimbursement minus $33 shipping cost) $14.88 - Marvel Mystery oil $31.05 - Battery corrosion cleaner, preventer, and terminal brush $27.07 - gumout, and coolant drain pan $7.69 - tubing for draining coolant $6.71 - funnel for ATF $7.44 - instant shudder fix transmission fluid $10.30 - transmission fluid protectant - lubegard (All from Amazon) = $557.40 All done at 106,000 miles - still getting only 19 mpg after doing all of above 09/09/2018 added lubegard dr tranny instant shudder fix to the transmission fluid 09/11/2018 got 20.9 mpg after adding marvel mystery oil 09/14/2018 added lubegard transmission fluid protectant 10/01 replaced Fuel Vapor Charcoal Canister with a used one from eBay $102
