Replacement U joints and double cardan joint for the front driveshaft. Had a spinning cup so it needed a replacement yoke for the cardan joint.

Valvoline synthetic 75w90 in the bags. Also added friction modifier to see if it helps with temperatures and gear rollover in the front when going around round abouts.

Changed oil and filter and added washer fluid. Did not lube chassis yet. Needs air filter and chassis greased. Ran an extra gallon by forgetting to shut off the drain due to Chester tearing up the cushion. Will grease chassis and change fuel filter when air filter comes in.

Swapped the snow plow springs for the variable springs. Shocks seems weak again but will have to run them. Snow plow springs put front receiver 28 1/2” from ground to bottom of the opening. Initial measurement was that the softer springs dropped the front 1/2”. Swapped out center tie bolts on the rear spring packs to put the 1/2” bolts in like they should have had. The passenger side had to be taken apart and the hole enlarged on the add a leaf to let the bolt go through. Ruined one new tie bolt trying to get them to line up. Glad I bought extras. Ratchet strapped the axle to the rear to try and get it back in alignment. Will have to get the truck aligned this week. Torqued the tie bolts to 30+ to pull the packs together. Somewhere around 40ft lbs compressed the as they should be so this looks better than the 15 for lbs from the internet it should hold the packs better and help with the alignment. The softer springs added rake and more weight to the front end already.
