Changed the Oil yesterday. Found a few leaks on what was a freshly rebuilt engine....before I let the car sit for three years, that is.... :(

Now I believe I was filling the tank just fine and the gauge just needed a little workout to push the needle loose from it's state of E it was in for the past three years. As I drive more, I should calm down with the excessive revving and continue to increase economy. Let's see if I can get up to 20MPG before summer's through.

I don't know that I'm getting an accurate reading yet. The fuel gauge has displayed higher, closer to F each fuel up so far. I have a feeling I'm adding more than I consumed as the previous tank was not truly full... I hope I didn't have any friends living in the fill tube after the car sat for three years! They're certainly NOT living any longer though! ;)

Ouch. Not quite what I remember from the previous engine.... No doubt the bad timing that kept the engine from running properly, lots of idling and revving while troubleshooting and then, once I had it running, I had a little fun with it as well as delivered in it tonight.

FINALLY!!! It's running well enough I can drive it and fuel up! ~1oz of 2 cycle oil goes into every gallon of fuel for the apex seals. I don't think I'm going to try to track that just yet....
